Le Otto Montagne – Italian film, based on the novel by Paolo Cognietti, in Rio Cinema,Limassol

Pietro, an 11-year-old boy from Turin, spends his summers in a small village in the Italian Alps with his parents. There he befriends Bruno, the village’s only child. Circumstances and family situations will keep them apart for a while. But they reconnect years later, now adults, in the same village, where they decide to build a hut together. A film with a rare sensitivity about real friendship against the backdrop of the beautifully photographed Italian Alps. Jury Prize at Cannes Film Festival 2022.
