Cyprus will continue to be among the over 100 countries where, from 19 to 25 November 2018, the Week of Italian Cuisine Worldwide will be celebrated. This key initiative of the Italian Government seeks to promote the excellence of Italian cuisine, Italian gastronomical products and Italian wines abroad.

XVIII Settimana della lingua italiana nel mondo: “L’italiano e la rete, le reti per l’italiano”
In the framework of the XVIII edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the World, the Embassy of Italy in Cyprus, in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland in Cyprus, has organised a series of film screenings.
The films will be screened at the Cine Studio of the University of Nicosia.
The films will be in Italian with English subtitles.
The entrance is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
Italian movies in Nicosia- XVIII edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the world
In the context of the XVIII edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the world, the Italian Embassy has the pleasure to invite you to the screening of the film “Stai lontana da me”

Exhibition “The Rossini Opera Festival through History and Memory” in Nicosia
The Embassy of Italy in Cyprus is pleased to present the exhibition “The ROF through History and Memory”. The exhibition is showcasing over 200 photos of the most beautiful choreographies of Rossini Operas; staged over the course of 30 years at the famous festival held every year in the composer’s hometown of Pesaro.
The exhibition will be hosted at CVAR from 5 to 20 October 2018.
