In the context of the XVIII edition of the Week of the Italian Language in the world, the Italian Embassy has the pleasure to invite you to the screening of the film      “Stai lontana da me

Place: University of Cyprus (New Campus, Amphitheatre B108).
The film will be in Italian language with English subtitle.

Exhibition “The Rossini Opera Festival through History and Memory” in Nicosia

The Embassy of Italy in Cyprus is pleased to present the exhibition “The ROF through History and Memory”. The exhibition is showcasing over 200 photos of the most beautiful choreographies of Rossini Operas; staged over the course of 30 years at the famous festival held every year in the composer’s hometown of Pesaro.

The exhibition will be hosted at CVAR from 5 to 20 October 2018.

The Italian play “The servant of two masters” (Il Servitore di Due Padroni) by Carlo Goldoni at Kypria International Festival with the support of the Italian Embassy. Written in 1746 “The Servant of Two Masters” by Carlo Osvaldo Goldoni (1707 – 1793) is one of his best-known works. It has been translated and adapted internationally numerous times. Still remains a fine example of its genre, the 18th century Italian Comedy- Commedia dell’arte!
